immigrants legally present in the United States.

Available services include:

  • resume writing
  • employment “soft skills” training
  • interviewing skills development
  • job search
  • job placement
  • job retention services
  • job development
Employment services are offered at

Eligibility requirements: legally present in the United States and eligible for
employment under United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS
– formerly the INS) regulations.

Eligibility requirements: a refugee who entered the United States within the past
five years, an asylee who was granted asylum in the US within the past five
years
or who is part of an refugee/immigrant household with children under the
age of 18 living at home – and income-eligible under TANF guidelines
or who is
a pregnant refugee/immigrant woman income-eligible under TANF guidelines.

Eligibility requirements: refugees who are secondary migrants (i.e. those
resettled elsewhere in the US who moved to Franklin County) who arrived in the
US within the past five years or those who were granted status asylum within the
past five years.
