Immigration legal services are funded by the City of Columbus, the Franklin County Office on Aging, the Harry C. Moores Foundation, the Martha G. Staub Fund of the Columbus Foundation and US Bank.

Immigration Legal Services
CRIS is the only non-profit immigration legal services program in Central Ohio. We
offer professional legal services to low- and moderate-income individuals at nominal
fees. Program staff includes three immigration attorneys, a coordinator and interns from local law
schools.
Available services include assistance with:
- Adjustment of status
- Applications for US citizenship
- Fiancée Visas
- Immigration case inquiries
- Notary services
- Representation (in immigration court,
asylum office, and USCIS)
- Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
- Visa Extensions
- Affidavits of support
- Asylum
- Green Card applications
- Immigration photos
- Relative petitions
- Review of immigration documents
- Travel documents

New clients are seen during open immigration intake:
at the CRIS East office (3624 Bexvie Avenue) every Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 am – 11:00 am 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
and at the CRIS West office (3000 West Broad Street) every Monday 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
There is a $10 intake fee. Other fees may be assessed depending on services provided.
