Family Reunification / AOR Process Among the options for reunification open to families who were separated while fleeing their home lands is the Affidavit of Relationship (AOR) process. Please read the following guidelines for filing Affidavits of Relationship to see if you are eligible to file an AOR. A person is eligible if he/she meets all of the guidelines below: 1. If he/she is a refugee or an asylee, 2. If he/she has family* living as a refugee outside of his/her homeland, and 3. If he/she is originally from one of these countries:
* Family is defined as: parent, spouse, and unmarried children under 21, only. If you meet all three eligibility requirements, please contact the reception desk at the CRIS North office (614-840-9634) for further details. All other question regarding sponsorship should be directed to CRIS immigration attorneys during intake. (Please see Immigration Legal Services.) |
