Refugee Resettlement
CRIS is the Ohio affiliate for the Church World Service (CWS) and Episcopal Migration
Ministry (EMM) refugee resettlement programs. As such,CRIS provides reception and
placement of refugees from overseas. The program's case management staff works
closely with arriving refugees as they learn how to navigate their new life in the United
States. All those served by this program have been approved for legal immigration status by the US
Department of State and the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
